Female Celebs Of All Ages, Proving That Women Are Strongest Together

Most of the focus has been on the Women March on Washington, but there were sister marches happening all across the county. Such was the case with the Women’s March in Los Angeles, where Miley Cyrus and her Happy Hippie Foundation pals were joined by celebs of all ages. Cyrus was all about spreading the love (as is her brand, but also it’s very appropriate for the occasion), and soon she was joined by actors and activists Jane Fonda, Jamie Lee Curtis, Frances Fisher, and Marcia Gay Harden.

Let’s be real: It’s hard to look and Cyrus and not feel anything but overjoyed with her activity. Say what you will, but she’s a woman who knows her own mind, morals, and matters are worth fighting for. That was prominently on display as she danced through the streets of downtown L.A.

In the days leading up to the march, Cyrus used her Instagram to bid a fond farewell to former president of the United States, Barack Obama. Like many of us, she was not ready to say goodbye, but she was also not content to sit idly by while others marched for women’s rights. No, instead, the outspoken and staunch feminist hippie made her voice heard on Saturday; happily, she was joined by all generations of women in the march.
