During last night’s Golden Globe Awards, Fifty Shades of Grey introduced a new trailer that includes a little more interaction between lovebirds Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. We get to watch Christian walk into the hardware store—the couple’s first public run-in—and, more importantly, Ana meets a very important woman in Christian’s life.
In the new trailer, Christian introduces Ana to his mother, Dr. Grace Trevelyan Grey, played by Marcia Gay Harden. As fans of the book know, Grace isn’t Christian’s biological mother, but rather the woman who took him in after his mother committed suicide. As he puts it in the trailer, he had a “rough start in life.”
