To gear up for the new season, members of the Code Black cast had some fun playing the popular kids’ game, Operation, which you can exclusively watch on ET. In the silly video, Lowe is joined by Boris Kodjoe and Luis Guzman, as they try to use the doctor skills they’ve learned to ace the game.

It takes more than just a handsome face to make it in the O.R., which Rob Lowe quickly found out on the set of Code Black.
The staff at Angels remains positively first rate. Marcia Gay Harden is the brilliantly tough Dr. Leanne Rorish, who anchors not only her department but the entire series. Harden is one of the best actresses on the small screen, and Code Black is another fantastic performance from her.

Oscar-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden talks to TV Drama about her role on "Code Black" as Residency Director Dr. Leanne Rorish, who is tasked with keeping the chaos under control in an overburdened system while training first-year residents and saving lives.
It’s intriguing to watch the interplay between Harden and Lowe. She let him take the lead, while occasionally reminding him of talking points. At times I found myself wondering if this dynamic was Harden & Lowe or their characters. The latter could be a lot of fun on the show! (Also, Harden looks awesome! I know Lowe’s the consider a “pretty boy” but he couldn’t outshine Harden’s sparkle.)
In the season premiere, Col. Ethan Willis (new cast member Rob Lowe) joins the team as part of a program in which the Department of Defense sends doctors to hospitals to teach new techniques and technologies that they learned on the field of combat.
