On November 7th I am attending an engaging and powerful event for the N.Y. based non-profit “Hearts of Gold.” The mission of Hearts of Gold is to help homeless mothers and children reimagine their futures, and become confident and self sufficient as they prepare to transition out of the shelter system and into their own, permanent homes.
